LOTS OF ACCORDIONS
LOTS OF MUSIC, LOTS OF FUN!!
ACCORDIONS NOW! 2010 an Unqualified Success!!
The Best-Ever ACCORDIONS
NOW! Festival
Unsolicited praise for ACCORDIONS NOW!
2010, held
August 6-7 in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA, has been flooding in to Festival
Co-Founders Suzanne “Sue” Welch and Donna Maria Regis.
Some of the highly enthusiastic comments:
Everything
was perfect. You deserve to be commended.
ACCORDIONS
NOW! 2010 was the highlight of my summer! Congratulations to you and
Sue for putting together a spectacular [event].
I
came away with more enthusiasm for the accordion.
THANK
YOU!!! [L.] (my girlfriend) had
an excellent time and did not realize that she liked accordion music until
right then!!!
Hi Sue and Donna, High praise and
accolades for a well run and fabulous weekend.

The performances of Cory Pesaturo, Don
McMahon [left to right in photo, right],
Tony Lovello [top photo], Mario Pedone,
Mary Tokarski, Roger Allen, and Nils Lundin were superb…
Great job in all ways…
Donna, your solo performance was
breath-taking, your duet with Lynda [Fish] fantastic, and the band fabulous.
Nils said he has heard hundreds of accordion bands perform but “you blew the
socks off of all of them.” CONGRATULATIONS ;-)
…the best accordionists I have ever
observed in a live performance.
I
feel honored to have been a part of the ACCORDIONS
NOW! 2010 Festival Orchestra [AN!FO,
in left photo]. It felt good to
be a part of something…bigger than one individual. One could feel the forces
generated by oneself and the surrounding players during the performance.
It was a fantastic concert!! I
listened to the files and we [AN!FO] were
darn good!! Thanks for your hard work.
I
was apprehensive coming to New Hampshire since I did not know anyone but felt
comfortable right away…I also enjoyed your wonderful performance and the
beautiful sound...You will definitely be seeing me again at ACCORDIONS
NOW! Keep me in the loop
regarding any and all future events. Thanks again.
As usual, a great festival. Don't know
how you and Sue find the time and energy to do it all…
On behalf of the [x] Family I'd like to say THANKS for an informative and fun weekend
at your ACCORDIONS NOW! assembly this year.

ACCORDIONS
NOW! had a better turn-out than [another
festival]. You did a great job.
And the people were very friendly... What a fun time...Thanks
I…appreciated your performance as both Conductor and

workshops

during the buffet[s] and general participation
5. Technical
ideas

7. An increased
appreciation of accordion
8. A renewed
enthusiasm to self improvement
9. Relaxation and
fun
10.
New accordion personal contacts
I thoroughly enjoyed the festival this
year as I have the previous two.
…my thoughts about the ACCORDIONS
NOW! 2010 Festival…In a
word, the program was superb.
Thank you for all your work and your
wonderful playing
I
wish Arthur Welch would consider giving a workshop on how to do simple repairs
and routine maintenance on accordions. Just a suggestion for next year's
conference.
Thank you [for]…the music… you and
Lynda played…such a lovely piece.
I
was glad to have some quiet time during meals to talk to people. I
met…interesting people I might follow up with later.
Well
we did OK didn't we? I thought the whole thing went smoothly.
If
you are having workshops next year, Sam Falcetti has one on fingering that would
be of great interest to me. Thanks
again.
I appreciate the time and effort that
you, Sue and others put into the festival.
Re: Music from ACCORDIONS
NOW! Festival…wonderful
- Thanks…I am more motivated…So no more excuses. I (WE) Really enjoyed
Festival! We had to travel a long way - but was worth it. Thanks again and keep
up the Great work. – Semper
Fidelis (Saluti a tutti)
I've
seen Tony before, but it's just amazing to watch him perform. He's…a
comedy act…but he can play the ever living Crap out of the accordion...He's
Crazy!
The evening was far beyond GREAT.
I hope Tony is still able to stand and
walk after that extra-energetic performance!
Once again…many thanks for all the
time and effort that you placed in pulling off ACCORDIONS NOW! 2010…also
for giving me the privilege of participating in the event.
What a wonderful day it was—
I have been inspired.
ACCORDIONS NOW! 2010,
proudly co-sponsored by New Hampshire Accordion Association and Accordion
Connection LLC, was clearly an unqualified success!!
