"As an accordionist I wanted to get greater versatility with my new "Bugari" Armando accordion, purchased from Arthur Welch, owner of "Accordion Connection" located in Loudon, NH. Instead of owning numerous types of accordions, I wanted an electronic system that is dynamic, that did not encompass a bulky keyboard, many amplifiers, many feet of cables which would require hours of setup time...PLUS, a MINI VAN or SUV to transport the musical system from place to place. After comprehensive discussions with Arthur Welch, I accepted his recommendation and opted to purchase the compact electronic digital (circuit board) LIMEX/MIDI MIC System and LIMEX CONTROLLER. Within a short time the LIMEX/MIDI SYSTEM AND CONTROLLER was installed in my BUGARI accordion by highly trained electronic staff located at the Accordion Connection facility in Loudon, NH. The only other piece of equipment required was a "Polytone" amplifier about the size of a small suitcase. The simplicity of this system is AMAZING!

You have a beautiful natural tone, stand-alone accordion OR by a touch of a button on the LIMEX CONTROLLER, within a split second, you have transformed your accordion & LIMEX MIDI/MIC SYSTEM, into another beautiful sound of world music. With the ability to pre-program tones of any other musical instrument and satisfy any ethnic musical background and/or audience… FANTASTIC!!!! Another success story!

Fred Lospennato, Strolling Serenades, uses two Borsini Accordions equipped with the state of the art wireless MIDI by LIMEX. Vocals and accordion are accompanied by a full orchestra. Using the LIMEX SYSTEM, Fred is able to communicate (no wires) with two real time arranger sound modules over 300 feet away. He has played functions from twelve people to four hundred people. He plays one hour to four hour gigs. He says the product is fascinating and extremely functional. He recently played a customer appreciation function which was broadcast live with The Gary Francis Show WCAP Lowell. There was concern that the frequencies would interfere with the broadcast. There was no interference with the broadcast using the wireless MIDI by LIMEX, in fact , Fred has never had any outside interference since he purchased his first Borsini in 1999. He has had so much work that he bought another Borsini Accordion (a lighter model) with the wireless MIDI by LIMEX in 2001. He uses one for practice and back up and one ready to roll.

What does Fred enjoy about the LIMEX WIRELESS MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface):

1. Light weight system adds little or nothing to the accordion weight. All the weight sets with the modules away from the accordion.

2. LIMEX WIRELESS MIDI allows you to control one module for the left hand and another module for the right hand and accompaniment.

3. On the floor you control both voice and the acoustic accordion as well as all of the thousands of sounds available in any module.

4. A simple bar on the grill of the accordion ( see picture ) allows him to call up various programs of sounds and volume. He can also stop and start the modules from the accordion from wherever he is in the room.

5. Just think , Fred Says, “ I can control 16 channels and over 10,000, sounds as well as the acoustics of my vocals and the accordion with this simple apparatus attached to the grill of my accordion. This is what I call high tech simplicity. NO WIRES FUNCTIONALITY.”
